At Man's Best Friend Dog Care, the safety, welfare and happiness of every dog in our care is our highest priority. To ensure a positive experience for both dogs and owners, please take a moment to read our policies below.

Home Boarding & Day Care

Dogs staying with us are cared for in a loving family environment and treated as part of the family.

We provide supervised care, regular toilet breaks, enrichment activities, rest periods and plenty of affection throughout the day.

Veterinary Care

In the unlikely event that your dog becomes ill or injured whilst in our care, we will make every effort to contact you immediately.

By booking with us, owners authorise Man's Best Friend Dog Care to seek veterinary treatment where necessary to protect the health and welfare of their dog

Any veterinary fees incurred remain the responsibility of the owner.

Meet & Greets

All new dogs must attend a meet & greet before any booking can be confirmed. This allows us to get to know your dog, discuss their needs and ensure they are comfortable within our home environment.

We reserve the right to decline bookings if we feel our setting is not suitable for a dog's individual needs.

Vaccinations & Preventative Treatments

For the safety of all dogs in our care, we require:

• Up-to-date core vaccinations or recent titer testing certs (Proof will be requested prior to your dog's stay)
• Current flea treatment
• Current worming treatment

Health & Welfare

Owners must inform us of any medical conditions, injuries, illnesses or behavioural concerns before a booking is confirmed.

We reserve the right to refuse admission to any dog displaying signs of illness or any condition that may put other dogs at risk.

Behaviour

We welcome friendly, well-socialised dogs that can be safely cared for within a home environment.

Any history of aggression towards people or other dogs must be disclosed during registration.

The safety of all dogs in our care will always be our priority.

Payments

Bookings are only confirmed once payment or deposit requirements have been met.

Details of payment arrangements will be provided at the time of booking.

Cancellations

We understand that plans can change. We kindly ask for as much notice as possible should you need to cancel a booking.

Cancellation charges may apply where short notice is given, particularly during peak periods where dates have been reserved and alternative bookings declined.

Updates During Your Dog's Stay

We know how much owners miss their dogs, so we are happy to provide regular updates and photos where possible during their stay.
